Creepy Crawly Cuisine

This project took a look at climate change through the lens of food. We set up market stalls in Ramsgate Town Centre and on a rural campsite, to offer passers-by some creepy crawly treats and entice them into a conversation about the future of food. With a growing population and less land available to grow food or raise livestock, what are we going to eat in years to come? We were joined by expert entomologists who explained how much protein there is in one little critter, and that we simply need to get over the 'yuk factor'! An academic review of our method of community engagement through this project was published in the journal Research for All and can be found HERE
